hours the maryland tate fair will be officially be opened for business. who better than the o's. roosevelt leftwich. tie is off and jacket is off and you look good and relaxed. >> reporter: that's one of the -- you have to have the boots but you know what, this is going to be a mom to be. she is going to have-- i know megan had twins but she is going to have from 6 to 16 piglets out here. it's just this is a birthing area for the maryland state fair and there's nothing but pregnant moms, we have sows and cows over there and everything is there's nothing here but this pregnant women that are very, very touchy so you want to make sure you are a little quiet because they are about due out here right now. every year according to the fair, they have about 14 births of cattle out here. you can only see what the cows are doing right now. that's what's very funny. but anyway, there's a lot going

on out here. but they have births every year and it's one of the things that makes the fair so unique out here is because what happens is that you get to see farm life up close and personal that maybe a lot of folks don't see. if you live down in the city or you live in the urban area you don't see what goes on and where your food comes from in a lot of different ways. but she is pretty cool but she will have 6 to 16 little babies probably sometime during the best days of summer here at the maryland state fair. here's a lot going on this year and a lot new. budweiser will have a big party stage set up. they will have bands and a platform. and also there's going to be-- they are going to double up on horse racing. if you a fan of thoroughbred racing some of the finest in the state they will double up and there's going to be bull riding on august 27th and mechanical bull out here at that budweiser platform a lot of folks can get out and try their hand at the first time.

heading into west virginia. we could get isolated showers as we go throughout the morning as well. we put on a different perspective and you can see things dry out a bit further back off towards the north and west you go. that's an area of high pressure that will be building in. behind the cold front, that will move through the morning, we will start to get drier air in here and also it will become more mild especially heading towards the weekend. but in the meantime, we are waiting for this to go through so as you head out the door this morning, you might want to take the rain gear with you just incase but it will be isolated in nature if we get showers or thunderstorms. now as we head to the tropics or gulf of mexico this is where we are watching an area of disturbed weather and the national hurricane center puts a 10% chance of this become a tropical cyclone in the next 48 hours. we will monitor it. temperatures at 68 in norrisville. mount airy 68 and we are seeing more 72s along the eastern shore in centerville and easton this morning.

thanks for joining thus morning. three young brothers take their hard earned money and decide -- decide to use it to help others. over the summer they set up a lemonade stand. they got a tent and bought cups and made a sign and started to sell and ended up making about $100. at first the boys thought we will buy some toys and decided they could use it for something else. they wanted to help others. so they went out and they bought school supplies for classmates who couldn't afford them. >> we kind of realized that taking the money and doing what was selfish that we could help people and. >> it feels good because you did something right. and it feels good. >> how cute is that kid and has a big heart. the boys put together kits and pencils and crayons and glue and took the collections they got and took them in and dropped them off and now we

forecast for the state fair. >> i will deliver especially heading towards the weekend. we will start to dry things out for today. but not going to rule out a chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm to pop up this morning. possibly this afternoon. you can see there's light raincoming in around frederick county. and this will begin to dissipate as we go throughout the morning hours. but we could see more popping up ahead of the cold front that will continue to move through as we go through the morning. and in terms of temperatures we are at 67 degrees right now in pylesville and the dew point will begin to go down. we will start to filter in some nicer drier air across the area. and arnold's temperature is at 70 with the dew point at 63. and in stevensville we are at 73 degrees with the winds out of the northwest. so this is good news. the winds out of the north is the drier air that will continue to work et cetera way in here as we go-- its way in here as we go throughout the day. speaking of going throughout the day you are waking up around 7 and the temperature is at 73 degrees. and by around 10:00 we are at 79 degrees. and then at lunchtime today, 83 degrees and it's going to be a
